Last week I had an opportunity to attend the PhotoPlus show at the Javits Center in NYC. The Photoplus Expo is a large gathering of all the major players in the photography and videography world. Everyone showing the latest and the greatest products they have to offer. Needless to say I was a kid in a candy store.
As we walked out the doors one couldn't help but notice this chap standing at the steps. He was a perfect subject for the theme of the expo and although I couldn't confirm his purpose, I'm sure he wasn't taking pictures with the antique, just posing for anyone with a camera. So I obliged and snapped off a few, knowing the exact look I wanted in post.
Regarding processing, I started with a Lightroom preset for B+W, played with the color temperature and then used the radial filter to lighten the background. Easily obtaining this old school look.
