If you live in New Jersey you've know doubt heard about the problems that Atlantic City is having with numerous hotel casinos. Several weeks ago it was reported that Trump Plaza and the Showboat Casino are closing it's doors. Just a few days ago reports surfaced that one of my favorite places, Revel, is having continued financial problems and will likely close it's doors if no buyers are found.
I recently stayed at Revel and have to say it was a very good experience! No visual signs of impending boom. My room was clean (and free), the waiter and food at Lugo's was fantastic, and the machines on the casino floor were fairly loose (I actually came home with $ in my pocket). Can't say enough good things about Revel and would hate to see it close.
So if you're thinking of going to AC, give Revel a look. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Oh, BTW, I don't have any affliations this hotel I just stayed here this past weekend and loved it!
