One of the unfortunate results of Hurricane Sandy was the destruction of the 59th Street Pier in Ocean Cit, NJ. It's not hard to figure out why this was one of my favorite shooting spots in southern NJ.
Sometimes simple is best..... who says a cloudless sky isn't interesting.....
I patiently waited for everything to line up with this shot.... The reservoir comes through again!
I was surprised by it's location and the sheer steepness of it's face. So if you go to Buttermilk Falls be prepared for something magical.
The Barnegat Lighthouse is very photogenic at any time of the day. On this night we were hoping to capture it and the super moon. Clouds prevented us from getting the shot we wanted but I think this does Ol' Barney justice.
